Ethereum Daily — September 6, 2026

Covering roughly September 5 – September 6, 2026.

Roadmap. No material new development since yesterday. The Glamsterdam Sepolia activation stays penciled in for October 6, 2026 at 13:53 UTC following ACDC #186's schedule slip, scope (ePBS, Block-Level Access Lists, ~200M gas limit) is unchanged, and client-team preference lists for remaining scope items are still due September 10.

Governance. No material new development since yesterday; EIP-8141 (Frame Transactions) remains "Scheduled for Inclusion" for Hegotá, and the EIP-8130 interoperability question is still unresolved.

Institutional and corporate adoption. No material new development since yesterday's Mint Incorporation (NASDAQ: MIMI) tokenization announcement; still no completion timeline, with the company noting the deal remains subject to regulatory approval.

Stats. ETH is trading around $2,481, up roughly 1.2% on the day, clawing back some of the prior session's pullback. The validator set kept growing: 907,641 active validators (up from 906,579), with 42.8 million ETH staked (35.08% of supply, up from 35.04%). The entry queue eased further to 2,052,533 ETH with a 35-day, 15-hour wait, while the exit queue stayed negligible at 352 ETH with a 9-minute wait. Gas ticked down again to a 0.046 gwei average (from 0.053 gwei). DeFi TVL sits at roughly $49.27 billion, essentially flat. ETF flows: September 4 was revised up to a $25.9 million net inflow (from the $0.0 million first reported, continuing the pattern of upward revisions seen this week); cumulative net inflows since launch now stand at roughly $13.19 billion.
