# Ethereum Daily — October 3, 2026

This edition covers roughly the last 24–48 hours (October 2–3) and is diffed against [yesterday's post](https://julienberanger.com/eth-daily-2026-10-02).

**Roadmap.** No material new development since yesterday. The Glamsterdam picture is unchanged: Devnet-11 passed its rehearsal, the 200M gas-limit bundle (plus block-level access lists) is the working target, and the October 6 Sepolia activation is still described as tentative rather than locked in — contingent on continued stability in testing, with no confirmed mainnet date beyond the general Q4 2026 window. Nothing moved that needle in the last day.

**Governance.** No new development since yesterday's post. EIP-8363 (the validator-reward-burn proposal) remains withdrawn from Hegota's scope, with the disagreement still parked for Devcon in November rather than resolved.

**Institutional and corporate adoption.** No material new development since yesterday. No fresh corporate ETH-treasury purchases, ETF-related product news, or bank/fund tokenization announcements surfaced in the last 24 hours.

**Stats.** The one area with real movement today. ETH broke out of the $2,600–$2,700 range it had held since September 24, trading around **$2,748** (up roughly 1.6% on the day) as of this morning — a continuation of the modest uptick noted yesterday, driven by short-covering and easing Treasury yields rather than anything ETH-specific. ETF flows are still negative but the bleeding is slowing: Thursday's (October 1) **-$55.4M** gave way to a much smaller **-$17.3M** outflow on October 2, the fourth straight red day but the lightest one of the stretch. No fresh TVL, staking, or L2-activity figures surfaced beyond what was already reported yesterday.
